Long-Distance Delivery
Delivery routes, bridge clearances, utility conflicts, site access and final placement are reviewed during project planning.
Ready-to-move homes are a strong fit for acreages and rural properties. The home is built in a controlled yard environment while foundation, utilities, access and other site work can proceed at the property at the same time.
While the home takes shape at the Jayco construction yard, foundation, utility, access and site preparation move forward at the property. That parallel workflow is part of the core RTM advantage.
Once construction is complete, the home is moved by an experienced transport team and positioned on the prepared foundation. Delivery planning is coordinated around the route, site access and final placement requirements.
Ready-to-move construction supports substantial floorplan, exterior and interior customization. The delivery method changes—not the expectation for a complete, durable and well-finished home.
For acreages and rural communities, an RTM can deliver a high-quality home at a lower cost and on a shorter overall timeline because trades work efficiently at the Jayco yard instead of repeatedly commuting to a remote jobsite, while foundation and site preparation proceed at the property at the same time.
After the home is placed, Jayco can complete service connections, basement development, garages, decks, porches and other on-site scope. Whether the project uses a full basement, crawl space or slab-on-grade foundation, the finished result is designed to look and perform as a permanent part of the property.
Assess RTM SuitabilityRTM homes can be transported hundreds of kilometres from the Jayco construction yard, making this approach practical for rural Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, as well as Northern Alberta, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and other remote destinations where route and site conditions allow.
The home can be installed on a conventional basement, crawl space or slab-on-grade foundation. Fully finished basements, attached or detached garages, decks, porches, service connections and exterior site work can be coordinated as part of the overall project.
Delivery routes, bridge clearances, utility conflicts, site access and final placement are reviewed during project planning.
Home and foundation details are coordinated for placement on a basement, crawl space or slab-on-grade system.
Jayco can coordinate garages, basement development, services and other on-site construction around the delivered home.
